The Cheshire Cat, as cynical and mischievous Carroll portrays him to be, is an intelligent character in the story.
He has a point in that everyone has their quirks, which makes them weird and crazy in their own way, for whatever ostensible (or unidentifiable) reason it may be.
When Alice didn't seem to know where she was going, the Cheshire Cat implied that it was ultimately her choice to "go among mad people" – she chose to escape reality and chase the White Rabbit down the rabbit hole!
It is in the fantastical world of Alice's wonderland that inanimate objects can come to life! Cards are often used as everyday tools (we bend and shuffle them), but Carroll imbues even the most mundane objects with satiric human qualities.
We absolutely love Carroll's creativity and John Tenniel's visual depiction of literal raining cards assailing Alice!
These cushion covers are made of polyester peach skin fabric for a very soft and silky smooth texture, which so many of our customers love!
Please note that, as always, only one side is printed on – the back of the cover is made of poly-cotton and is stark white. The back also features a flap for easy insert of your preferred cushion.
These square cushion covers are 17.7" (45cm) in width and length – definitely large enough to do the amazing artwork justice!
To wash them, use a gentle machine washing mode with a mild detergent (no bleach). Avoid clothes containing zippers, hooks and buttons. Do not reverse to dry and hang in a shady area to prevent colors from fading in the sun.
